Our Doctrine

We believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God, infallible, and the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.

We believe in the One Triune God, Who is:

* God the Father, Creator of Heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, rich in grace, supreme in love, righteous in judgment, and measureless in power.
* God the Son, Jesus Christ, Who was born of a virgin, lived without sin, and offered Himself as the perfect substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of mankind by shedding His blood on the cross of Calvary. He rose bodily from the grave and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
* God the Holy Spirit, a Person Who is co-equal with the Father and the Son, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, and regenerates all who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that man was uniquely created in the image of God, but because of Adam’s transgression, the whole human race fell. All men everywhere are sinners, both by nature and by choice.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ without any admixture of works, and that believers are eternally secure in Christ having been sealed by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Heaven and Hell are literal places prepared by God as the only eternal abode. All those who have been saved will live eternally with God in heaven while all those without Christ will consciously abide in Hell forever.

We believe the Church to consist of true believers banded together for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, and service, and that the two ordinances for the church are Baptism and the Lord’s Table.

We believe in the rapture of the Church, the personal return of Jesus Christ, His earthly millennial reign, and the creation of a new heaven and earth.

We believe in being set apart from self, sin, Satan, and the world system that promotes such, while at the same time being separated unto the praise of His glory.
